Celebrate the legendary Clement "Coxsone" Dodd and his incredible contributions to Jamaican music with one of the Sir Coxson's Downbeat Soundsystem speakers!
I carefully redesigned this to match the perfectly imperfect hand-painted design. The speaker grill and port are recessed metal filled with transparent enamel to give them a fabric-covered feel. This looks really cool as the pin moves, giving a three-dimensional look.
And since I know this comes up from time to time, here is what the letters mean:
KCBE: Knight Commander of the Blues Empire
MRSJ: Master of the Royal Society of Jazz
PRNR: Professor of Rock N Roll
Sir Coxson's Downbeat Pin
- Silver-Plated Zinc Alloy
- Hard Enamel
- Size: 1.75" Tall
- Thickness: 1.5mm
- Two Back Pins
- Red Star Clutches
Standard Grade pins have no flaws on the face of the pin. Light scuffs from the metal plating process are common and considered standard quality.
B-Grade pins have small imperfections. This could be small sections without hard enamel, under-filled or over-filled enamel, inconsistent transparency, inconsistent glitter distribution, etc.
